Mayo Clinic Health System and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse are committed to creating a culture of health in our community—one where we all help each other live the healthiest life possible—and the Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival is a dynamic representation of that commitment.
The 2020 Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival will be celebrating 7 years of paddling and community at Copeland Park in La Crosse, WI. On June 20, 2020, 50 teams from the community will paddle down the Black River to support the breast cancer efforts in La Crosse along with healthy lifestyles progamming at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.
The Big Blue Dragon Boat Festival raises funds to support breast cancer survivors through the Center for Breast Care at Mayo Clinic Health System, and additionally provides a sisterhood of support and physical activity that promotes healing. New this year, the funds will also be supporting healthy lifestyles programming at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse to promote good nutrition, regular physical activity and improving overall well-being for youth in our community.
