Don’t Dress for Dinner Auditions

December 3 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 6:00 pm, repeating until December 3, 2019

Hold on to your hat and have a drink…you’re going to need it!

Bernard has a lover who is pretending to be Robert’s lover so Jacqueline wouldn’t know she was Bernard’s lover. Meanwhile, Robert is Jacqueline’s lover pretending to be Bernard’s lover’s lover so Bernard wouldn’t know Jacqueline had a lover. And Bernard’s lover is pretending to be the cook while the real cook pretends to be Robert’s lover. Will anyone be sober enough for dinner!? It’s an evening of hilarious confusion as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed.

‘Don’t Dress for Dinner’ will be directed by guest artist, Liz Golson. Liz received her BFA in Music Theatre from The Hartt School in 2007 and enjoyed acting professionally all over the country for more than a decade. After a strange and wonderful acting career, Liz began to direct and choreograph, most recently directing ‘The Secret Garden’ and ‘Fools’ and choreographing ‘Cabaret’ at LCT.

Auditions are open for age 18 and up. There are roles available for three men and three women. No need to prepare anything. Perusal scripts are available at the box office with a $5 refundable deposit. First-time auditionees are welcome—no experience necessary.

Performances are Thursdays through Sundays, January 24-February 2, 2020. The cast list will be announced during the morning show of WXOW on Friday, December 6, 2019, as well as on LCT’s website and social media pages. Rehearsals are scheduled Mondays through Fridays beginning December 9, 2019. For more information, call the box office at 608-784-9292.
