This special temporary exhibit, “La Crosse in Uniform,” features World War II Army, Navy, Marine Corps, WAVES, WAC, and Red Cross uniforms and artifacts from La Crosse area veterans.
“La Crosse in Uniform” at the La Crosse Area Heritage Center opens on Thursday, August 31st, and closes on Sunday, October 22nd.
The La Crosse Area Heritage Center is open Thursday – Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm, at 506 Main Street in downtown La Crosse.
Admission is free for La Crosse County Historical Society Members, $5/adult, $4/student, and children 4 and under are free. The Heritage Center is a Blue Star Museum offering free general admission to active-duty military personnel and their families.
