Mary Zimmerman’s The Secret in the Wings adapts a group of lesser-known fairy tales to create a theatrical work that sets their dark mystery against her signature wit and humor. The play opens as a married couple leave their young daughter, Audrey, with the babysitter for the evening as they head out to a party. The couple sees a genial, avuncular babysitter, but Audrey sees a hideous ogre with a spiny tail who has obvious plans to devour her.

Tickets are available for purchase in person at the box office in the Center for the Arts or by calling 608.785.6696 beginning Monday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 1:00-3:00 p.m. and one hour prior to each performance.
