Stone Temple Pilots Set to Rock Maple Grove Venues on June 14

A vibrant crowd at a nighttime outdoor rock concert, with silhouetted fans raising their hands in the air as bright stage lights and fog illuminate the scene in front of a large performance stage.

WEST SALEM, Wis. — Iconic rock band Stone Temple Pilots will headline a major outdoor concert at Maple Grove Venues on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The event also features performances by Black Stone Cherry and The Unlikely Candidates. It’s a promising night of high-energy rock music under the stars.

The concert is part of Maple Grove Venues’ annual summer rock series, known for bringing top-tier acts to the scenic outdoor stage in West Salem. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 5:00 p.m. for general admission. The first opening act is scheduled to hit the stage at 6:30 p.m., followed by the second at 7:30 p.m., with Stone Temple Pilots taking the stage at 9:30 p.m.

Stone Temple Pilots, formed in 1989, rose to prominence in the early ’90s with era-defining hits like “Plush,” “Interstate Love Song,” and “Creep.” The current lineup includes brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo, drummer Eric Kretz, and lead vocalist Jeff Gutt, who joined the group in 2017. While grounded in the grunge movement, the band has continuously evolved, drawing inspiration from a broad range of influences. Guitarist Dean DeLeo cites classic acts like Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. Meanwhile one of the best bassists of the 90s, Robert DeLeo, blends jazz, Motown, and British rock influences. Their genre-blending creativity allows them to stay both innovative and relevant across decades.

Tickets for the event are available through the Around River City ticket portal: tickets.aroundrivercity.com. Maple Grove Venues is located at W4142 County Highway B in West Salem, Wis. For more details, visit maplegrovevenues.com.

There’s nothing quite like the energy of a live rock show, and Stone Temple Pilots delivers with unforgettable intensity. From the moment the first chord strikes, fans will be immersed in a wall of sound, lights, and emotion. You simply can’t replicate the experience through a screen or speaker. Concert goers will feel the power of raw unfiltered connection. This goes beyond the band to include hundreds of fellow fans singing and losing themselves in the music.

Finally, at Maple Grove Venues, the open-air setting enhances that magic, where every drumbeat reverberates under the stars.
